Bread and other foods…

So, I'm not generally a sandwich person.  It's not that I don't like sandwiches, in fact I generally enjoy them very much.  I think it's more because I don't want to take the time to combine all the other, individually ready-to-eat items into a second order item that is equally ready-to-eat.  I guess you could probably call it laziness.

Well, a couple weeks back the DFAC (Dining FACility) was serving chic hen fingers. I overcame my laziness that day and haven't looked back.  The bread here is wonderful.  I've had everything from a standard braided roll to spicy bread (with red pepper cooked in) to a German Laugenbroetchen, which is essentially a pretzel baked into a roll form.  Yummy!

I don't have a roll at every meal, but at least I know now that it's always a solid backup when the main line is serving grizzle disguised as pork.
